Lighter side of Japan, part 1

Anchii Blog Entry #37 originally posted Jun 11 Thu 2009 15:11
Earlier, after we finished our major mission "HP concert"
The company is always so considerate beyond description

Actually, there was no work after the concerts finished
The company arranged a tour for us, as a reward
This time, it's Asakusa and Odaiba shopping center
Asakusa is know for the temple and senbei, Most famous of which is the Asakusa Kannon Temple
Actually, there is a market street outside Japanese temples
To let tourists get some souvenirs after prayers!

Since we're at the famed Asakusa Kannon Temple, you've got to use your time to capture some memories
And wouldn't miss the famous senbei
On the streets outside Asakusa Kannon temple, I found some strange things
Like grass woven shoes, thief carvings above the roof, peddlers I've only seen in anime
And people wearing kimono on the street (even though it's ordinary in Japan, but it's the first time I've seen it!)
