Japan Gourmet Tour, I'm a Glutton - Part 2

Shenshen Blog entry #6 originally posted Dec 29 Mon 2008 19:28

This time around~
Glutton Shenshen would like to tell you about Tsunku-san's Karifuwado~
Karifuwado is a teppanyaki restaurant opened by Tsunku-san
Shenshen was surprised too when she found out
I didn't know that Tsunku-san opened restaurants too, it's awesome!
You can see Tsunku-san's signature style from the sign at the entrance~
↑Tsunku-san has a habit of adding a ♂ after his signature (like the arrow above the O)
↑Karifuwado's huge wall mounted refrigerator
↑It's actually a wine cabinet that's kept at 14°C~

It's Shenshen's first time having okonomiyaki
Required table setting includes a spatula
And one for each person!
It's probably because okonomiyaki might fall apart if you pick it up with a chopstick
So, "individual spatula" replaces chopsticks
How considerate the Japanese are
↑The must have spatula for okonomiyaki
↑Everyone has four sauces: miso, plum, lemon, and salt

Karifuwado's dishes
have big portions, overflowing sauces, and ultimately delicious~!
( I'm such a glutton, haha )
↑The ultra-delicious okonomiyaki
↑This is a different flavor~
↑Yakisoba, tastes alot like Cantonese fried noodles
↑Curry omurice, Shenshen never tire of it

The dishes in Tsunku-san's restaurant are a bit on the heavy side
Every dish is full of teppan flavor, and was every satisfying!

Whew~~~ Shenshen's gourmet journal part 2 is finally done
Thanks everyone ~ to read Shenshen's introductions to the end ^_^
If you know any delicacies, please let Shenshen know ~

LOVE YOU ALL ~
